The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decisions by analyzing internal and external data sources, identifying trends, and delivering actionable recommendations. This position is key to supporting strategic initiatives, optimizing revenue potential, and ensuring alignment with market opportunities.
What you will do
- Business Planning: Analyze historical data, market trends, and external factors to develop data-driven forecasts and strategic recommendations to support business planning;
- Performance Tracking & Review: Design and deliver comprehensive performance analyses on key business metrics, identifying growth opportunities and areas for improvement; Translate insights into actionable recommendations to guide decision-making and improve overall business outcomes;
- Client Segmentation: Conduct advanced data analysis to segment advertisers into actionable groups, tailoring strategies to maximize potential revenue and align with business goals;
- Market Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market shifts to identify opportunities and risks; Provide strategic guidance on how to adapt to changes in the market to stay ahead of competitors;
- Strategic Recommendations: Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver clear and impactful recommendations that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and long-term business success;
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Create clear, visually engaging dashboards and reports to communicate complex data and insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
What you will need
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field;
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role;
- Knowledge of statistical models, segmentation techniques (e.g., RFM analysis), and forecasting methods;
- Familiarity with building automated reporting processes, using macros or dashboard frameworks;
- Basic scripting skills in Python or R for data manipulation and advanced analytics;
- Advanced skills in Excel (including Power Query and Power Pivot) and proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau;
- Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations;
- Business Acumen: Understanding of revenue dynamics, market trends, and competitive analysis to support decision-making;
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
