The Sale & Customer Services _ Assistant Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships—especially with Japanese customers—and ensuring smooth coordination of sales, marketing, and customer service activities. This role also plays a key part in ensuring timely premium collection and promoting client retention through high-quality service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. New Business Development
- Identify and develop new sales and marketing channels (e.g., brokers, agents, partners).
- Build and strengthen relationships with brokers, agents, and key partners.
- Propose and implement new marketing and business initiatives aligned with company objectives.
- Approach and engage prospective clients to introduce insurance products and tailored service solutions.
- Develop and execute business development plans and sales strategies.
2. Business Servicing (New & Renewal)
- Provide necessary information and consultations to potential clients.
- Prepare monthly renewal lists; track and follow up on renewal opportunities with assigned clients.
- Make quotations for new, renewal, or cross-sale opportunities, in compliance with underwriting and marketing guidelines.
- Monitor premium due dates and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.
3. Client Servicing & Retention
- Maintain and regularly update the client database for accuracy and efficiency.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding insurance products, coverage details, and service support.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular visits, gifts, and participation in client events or celebrations.
- Deliver client training sessions or presentations when required.
- Support claims department in coordinating loss surveys.
- Assist Risk Engineers in conducting risk assessments, loss control activities, and technical workshops when necessary.

Yêu cầu công việc:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role within the non-life insurance sector.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of non-life insurance products and practices.
- Business Acumen: Strong grasp of sales, marketing strategies, and customer service principles within the insurance industry.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English (speaking and writing);
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, relationship management, and client-handling capabilities.
- Work Style: Team-oriented, organized, customer-centric, and result-driven.
