Position: Senior Associate Trader.
Department: Institutional Sales & Trading (IST).
Reports to: Head of Institutional Sales & Trading/ Head of Trading.
Job Description
The Senior Associate Trader will join the IST team to support the trading desk to execute client orders among other tasks. This position is a great opportunity to become a member of the leading institutional brokerage team with #1 market share in foreign trading.
Responsibilities
- Provide trading advice, market trends, news and market colors to clients on a daily basis.
- Receive and execute client orders.
- Actively seek and offer block trades in the market.
- Network and build relationships with clients.
- Assist with the account opening process.
- Complete ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable about Vietnam’s equity market and economy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to express views on client orders and the market.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage day-to-day tasks both collaboratively and independently.
- Excellent team player with maturity, judgment and sharp decision-making.
- Understanding of and ability to manage confidential information.
- Fluent in English with demonstrated skills in speaking and writing.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a record of high academic achievement.
- 3+ years of relevant prior experience.
