Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead all on-site activities of an assigned small to mid-size site or sub-project to ensure cost-effective execution of project deliverables, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements. Each day, you will lead the site team allocated to the project, follow main guidelines, and allocate tasks. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.

Location: Bacninh and Project site
This role is contributing to the Robotics business in Vietnam. Main stakeholders are our customer and project management team.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Ensure quality, progress, and safety throughout all phases—from site construction to final acceptance and mass production maintenance.
- Support the Project Manager in communicating with customers and suppliers to ensure the project meets the quality and timeline requirements outlined in the technical agreement.
- Collaborate with proposal, design, and site engineering teams to promptly address and resolve issues during project execution, including but not limited to mechanical and electrical installation and on-site robot programming.
- Oversee logistics preparation, material storage, outsourcing supplier authorization, task and shift assignments, and daily team operations.
- Lead the on-site team, monitor and document equipment failures with customers daily, resolve issues promptly, and maintain an updated issue log.
- Responsible for on-site team building, including team organization structure construction, participant selection, and supplier capability assessment. Ensure the output and stability of the team.
- Maintain strong relationships with on-site customers and earn the trust of key stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Over 5 years of experience in technical support, service engineering, or debugging within the automation industry, with the ability to independently manage on-site mechanical/electrical installation, debugging, and programming. Alternatively, at least 3 years of experience in site management, with strong skills in on-site communication and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with the 3industry and common robotic applications within it.
- Solid understanding of industrial robots; experience with ABB robots is preferred.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese; strong communication skills in both languages.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
- Ability to build relationships, credibility, and trust with stakeholders.
- Demonstrates integrity and openness.
- Capable of working under pressure.
