Toy Designer (Illustratior/Concept Artist)

We're on the lookout for a creative Toy Designer to bring life to collectible figures through standout surface designs. No sculpting required—your focus will be on colors, patterns, and textures inspired by pop culture, sports, and brand collaborations.

Responsibilities:

• You’ll create new ghost designs-illustration-driven, graphic-driven, or character-based - built specifically for pad printing, decals, hydro dipping, and other production techniques.
• Utilize Adobe Illustrator for concept ideation and visualizations for internal review and factory communication.
• Design patterns and surface graphics in 2D (UV mapping) to be applied on a pre-defined figurine.
• Apply your designs to the 3D figure using KeyShot (or similar software) to visualize the final look.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine designs and ensure they meet technical specifications and market requirements.
• Liaise directly with figure and packaging factories to guide designs into production

Yêu cầu công việc:

• Proven experience in design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in toy/graphic design & package design.
• Experience in 2D surface design, illustration, or textile/pattern design (doesn’t need to sculpt/model 3D)
• Strong understanding of UV mapping and working with flat surface layouts.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and KeyShot.
• A creative eye, strong attention to detail, and passion for toys, collectibles, sports, or pop culture.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with toy manufacturing, printing, or packaging workflows.
• Basic 3D knowledge (you won’t be modeling, but understanding the pipeline helps).
• Comfortable with English, both written and spoken
