Purpose and Mission
To plan, source, implement and control the efficient, effective, flow of Raw material, Finished Goods and packing Material. Implementation & sustain varied supply chain projects towards differentiated customer service with focus on supply chain cost. To ensure effective & efficient management of external warehouses along with transportation management.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- General:
• To handle day to day activity for the smooth, efficient and economical working of the Stores for the various category of material. Material categories as like- Raw material, Spare parts, Consumables, packing material, finish goods , including Consumable and stock and Scrap+Waste
• To Ensure timely fulfilment of internal customer requirements.
• To maintain safety standards within stores area and Engagement among team.
• To maintain optimum inventory levels and Space Utilization
• To ensure produced finished Goods are stored in controlled conditions as per Bekaert specification, before dispatching it to customer.
• To ensure dispatches are made to customers as per agreed schedules once produced finished goods are made ready in all aspects.
• To ensure all checks are carried out and sequencing requirements are met, before material leaves Bekaert premises
2. Safety and 5S
- Understand Safety requirement for relevant activities in Warehouse including Scrap-Hazardous and non-hazardous Waste; unloading/loading for in and out cargo.
- Maintain and increase awareness among WH staffs and Sub-contactor employees
- To Ensure Fire Fighting safety match with local regulation
- To Monitor Equipment at well function : Forklift, BOPT, Lighting system, Spool reconditioning Machine
- 5S control for all Warehous
3. Planning
- To build plan for Loading and Unloading based on shipment schedule , ensure no interruption among two activities
- To arrange sufficient manpower to carry daily/weekly work in WH
- To forecast potential Warehouse capacity issue
4. Finished Goods Handling
- Layout of FG should be monitored well and must adapt to changing demand in a month; ensure no storage capacity problem.
- Store FG pallets as SOP, immediately re-arrange if any pallets set incorrectly
- To ensure Correct quantity of pallets for each different construction/products
- To ensure All pallets with correct Delivery labels, tackling immediately if any non-comformity case on label
- To Ensure loading safely as SOP, no Mix-up, delivery in Full and on time
- All documents should be prepared in advance and match with latest update from Logistics team
5. Inventory Control
- To ensure no Loss in stock, accurarate stock inventory
- To Monitor Stock level for each type of materials: ISC, Spare part, Packing, return spool
- To proceed monthly stock take and abnormal inspection if required
- To control on FIFO and slow moving material in all types of stock items
- Update and export SAP when there is change and as per line manger request
- To Proactively propose solution if any problem on slow moving stock, expiry one, scrap clearance
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree of related background
- SAP System knowledge is prefer, good command of computer and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of materials management. At least 2 years experiences of similar position in manufacturing companies
- Good communication and management skills, willing to coach and influence people
- Good analytical ability.
- Good English skills is required
