OVERVIEW
- Oversee and execute daily facility maintenance: Coordinate routine tasks and ensure smooth operation of all site facilities.
- Maintain site to high standards: Ensure all facilities meet Good Storage Practice (GSP) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, prioritizing quality and safety.
- Perform and troubleshoot equipment: Execute work orders, rectify basic warehouse defects, and troubleshoot general M&E equipment within scope.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate repairs: Regularly inspect buildings, report defects, and coordinate rectification works to minimize production disruption.
- Manage vendor services and cost-effectiveness: Plan and coordinate vendor activities, ensuring all maintenance jobs are cost-effective and meet quality standards for product integrity.
DUTIES
- Prioritize and uphold EHS standards: Proactively maintain site safety programs, adhere to all EHS rules and regulations, identify and mitigate hazards, and ensure all team members comply with safety training and practices.
- Maintain stringent Quality Management System: Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and quality policies, report and address quality issues, complete quality training, and support investigations and CAPAs, especially regarding Good Storage Practice (GSP) incidents.
- Foster strong client engagement: Proactively communicate with the client, provide solutions, conduct regular meetings, and ensure all documentation and reports comply with GSP requirements.
- Ensure comprehensive compliance: Meet all regulatory, and client policies, standards, and procedures, and complete all mandatory compliance training.
- Drive efficient Engineering Delivery & Strategy: Support the team in meeting client business needs, propose improvements for cost-saving and increased efficiency, and ensure all operations and work orders align with client requirements, best practices, and GSP.
REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Background: A diploma or relevant trade certification, ideally in an engineering discipline, is required.
- Facility Maintenance Experience: At least 4 years of experience in engineering operations and facilities/process equipment maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years in a GSP (Good Storage Practice) environment.
- Technical Expertise (Desirable): Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) space, proficiency in instrument calibration, equipment troubleshooting, and familiarity with HVAC, building M&E, BMS operations, and utility systems.
- Key Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of GSP, ability to read drawings and equipment M&O manuals, and familiarity with instrument calibration principles and building M&E equipment.
- Core Competencies: Possesses strong teamwork, follow-up, initiative, and planning/work management skills.
- English: Intermediate level in English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
- Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of working effectively with stakeholders and vendors, has a continuous improvement mindset, is targets-driven, and excels in troubleshooting and analysis.
- System Familiarity (Desirable): Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and familiarity with control systems such as BMS, EMS, and SCADA.
