Sony Music Vietnam is seeking a highly dynamic and agile Assistant Marketing Manager to strengthen our marketing function in the Vietnam music entertainment market. You will bring an in-depth understanding of Vietnam's music landscape and audience preferences, spanning various genres and styles. You already have experience designing and executing innovative, multi-platform marketing strategies, and you know how to leverage data and analytics to generate insights and drive impactful campaigns in both domestic and regional markets.
This role will report to the Director, Business Development & Marketing and will play a pivotal role in bridging creative ideas with execution excellence, ensuring that Vietnam's music talent reaches and resonates with the widest possible audience.
What you'll do:
Marketing & Promotions
- Develop and implement creative, locally relevant marketing campaigns for priority artist releases.
- Strategize and execute social media, influencer, and digital marketing initiatives to maximize audience reach.
- Coordinate with artists, labels, and partners to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.
- Collaborate with internal Sony Music teams (e.g., streaming, business development) to optimize release performance.
- Identify key opportunities, events, and partnerships to plan targeted marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain a network of contacts in media, influencer communities, and marketing agencies to expand promotional reach.
- Manage marketing budgets and provide regular ROI reports for campaign measurement.
- Develop strategies to grow followers and increase listenership on streaming platforms.
Product & Campaign Management
- Oversee planning for artist releases, from product setup to ingestion, artist liaison, and marketing coordination.
- Support cross-functional projects requiring dedicated marketing follow-up.
- Manage brand deliverables, on-ground activations, and post-campaign evaluations.
Market & Performance Analysis
- Analyze campaign and streaming performance to identify high-potential markets and genres.
- Use audience insights, social media engagement, and trend analysis to refine marketing strategies.
- Monitor competitive releases to identify best practices and untapped opportunities.
Who you are:
- Currently working in the music, entertainment, or related creative industry.
- More than 4 years of hands-on marketing experience, including social media management, promotions, partnerships, and campaign execution.
- Skilled at managing multiple projects and balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable managing campaign budgets and reporting on performance.
- Strong understanding of Vietnam's music and entertainment culture, especially youth trends.
- Adept at building relationships with artists, partners, and cross-functional teams.
