About your role
- Own supply chain agenda for the category assigned in terms of demand and supply management. This includes on-going SKUs and new product introduction under the category.
- Collaborate with cross functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Finance) to deliver identified business expectations for the categories, including KPIs.
What You'll Do
Implement Sales & Operating Planning activities for assigned categories
- Cooperate with Sales and Marketing teams to have deep understanding about historical sales trend, pricing, promotion strategy, market competition and economic viewpoints which can be embedded into demand forecasting of assigned category
- Define baseline Forecast by applying appropriate forecasting methods in both tactical and strategic planning horizon of assigned category.
- Closely work with Trade Marketing and Brand Marketing for Uplift Activities and Program from Pipeline for NPI to Trade Push or Sampling to define final Unconstrained Demand.
- Collaborate with category Supply Planning to defined constrained demand and deliver FG supply plan at the disaggregated level that meets M-1, W-1 forecast.
- Daily & weekly result review and develop root cause analysis on variances to have adjustment where needed as well as action plan with relevant stakeholder to enhance forecasting accuracy
- Identifies and resolves conflicts between Supply and Demand.
New Product Initiatives (NPI)
- Collaborate with Innovation Planning team to ensure New product launching is reflected into strategic demand plan with reasonable approach.
- Effectively communicate the status of NPI projects, issues, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Phrase out product identified and managed to plan to minimize obsolescence including finished goods, semi -finished goods and raw materials
- Represent Supply Chain function in various recurring supplier or other product meetings for those NPI under category assigned
- Lead the team in New Art-work/Specs Changes of Product (which is not defined as Innovation) in supply chain activities from communication to execution with cross-functions.
Planning system/process implementation and enhancement
- Implementing SAP_IBP and supporting design, development, and optimization activities, while working as key user to minimize use of manual systems and maximize efficiency of planning work
- System master data owner: ensure accurate SAP_IBP Demand master data (from Customer to Product) to deliver system output result good quality, including join with IT on periodical master data audit to ensure master data accuracy.
- Working with other functions to standardize all Demand Master data from in-house Inventory to Sale-In and Sale-Out in DMS/ other systems.
- Participate in those projects with other functions that require Planning resource in terms of Demand Management, such as Unconstraint SO management, EIB Inventory reporting, Baseline demand implementation, etc.
What You need to be successful
- 3 years’ experience in demand planning & forecasting
- Knowledge of demand planning/forecasting technology (Statitical Forecast algorithm) and ERP systems
- Consumer goods product experience in a high-volume national network and/or big box retail
- Result-oriented with high adaptation and capability to work under pressure
- Strong at communication, influencing and people development skill
- Good at problem solving and planning skill
- Strong at giving initiatives and leading the team for result-orientation
- Good data analysis and logical thinking
