Electrical Commissioning Engineer

1. Commissioning & Testing:

• Oversee the commissioning of ship electrical and automation systems according to the ship's technical specifications.

• Conduct thorough testing of electrical and automation systems and demonstrate their functionality to Class and Owner, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

• Prepare for and actively participate in Sea Trials, conducting tests and preparing comprehensive reports as assigned.

2. Technical Support:

• Assist technical engineers in the creation and updating of electrical drawings, connection diagrams, and cable lists.

• Monitor design progress, manage drawings, and maintain technical documentation.

• Develop technical specifications and Bills of Materials for procurement.

• Technical supervision of the manufacturing department and outsourcing Company.

3. Documentation & Handover:

• Manage of technical documents from outsourcing Company.

• Handover Electrical system to the Owner and the vessel crew, including Report and training.

• Comply with approved drawings from Authorities, ship Owner and the Classification society.

4. Other Duties:

• Coordinate interfaces from different system providers.

• Coordinate interfaces between Production, Engineering and Commissioning departments to check the quality and process on vessel.

• Coordinate the information flow with relevant parties.

Yêu cầu công việc:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.

• Experience:

o Experience in shipbuilding, ship design, or relevant operational fields.

o Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within a foreign company.

• Skills & Competencies:

o Fluency in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.

o Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

o Attention to detail.

o Proven process management skills.

o Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
