About this position:
VidCruiter is committed to ensuring that our clients experience seamless functionality and reliability in our products and services. Our Development team is dedicated to thoroughly and comprehensively testing our products and processes to contribute to faster release cycles, reduced costs, improved stability, and meet the clients' needs.
What you’ll do:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your role will be instrumental in implementing robust testing processes and ensuring the quality of our recruitment software platform. You'll collaborate closely with our Development team to identify and report bugs, verify fixes and provide solutions to software quality problems.
While no two days are the same, here’s what you can expect from this role:
You'll develop and implement thorough testing processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our recruitment software platform.
Oversee testing activities across the software development lifecycle, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on product delivery.
Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability.
You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback on software quality, and promote continuous improvement.
Assess system scalability, stability, and reliability under various load conditions, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks as needed.
What we’re looking for:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in quality assurance and software testing, preferably in the SaaS industry. (or similar function)
Proficiency in testing methodologies.
Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Redmine, Bugzilla, JIRA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to solve technical problems and implement innovative solutions.
Strong understanding and analysis of complex systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adaptability to change.
Strong attention to detail, passion for product quality, and an eye for client’s needs
Knowledge/experience on the following subjects is an advantage
Web application testing, desktop and mobile browsers
Responsive web applications and Mobile applications
Basic knowledge on HTML
Automation testing concept
