This Position reports to:
Procurement Team LeadYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Intern will be trained and coached on general SCM process – mostly on job training. Eg:
- Intern will support the function on detail documentation work under detail instruction/ guidance from senior staff in ABB (shipping documents control, customs clearance checking, CO application, etc.)
- Intern will support minor activities as assigned by senior staff or function head with detail instruction/ guidance.
- Intern is supposed to have self-learning plan in order to catch-up knowledge from experience members in ABB
- Intern is encouraged to have self communication with other functions in ABB to have wider field of knowledge during their internship.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Senior Students or fresh graduates holding University degrees in International Business Administration/Commerce or related majors.
- Good organization skills, proactive, result-oriented,
- Ability in managing several tasks
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Passionate, fast learners with Can Do attitude
- Good command of English
- Good computer skills
