Responsbilities:
- Compliance with Six Senses and IHG systems, purchasing policy service, safety, and hygiene standards including HACCP, ISO, and VIETGAP.
- Maintain professionalism and effective communication across all departments heads to define product needs and sourcing strategies.
- Obtain competitive quotes for major purchases and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and local sourcing.
- Manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and maintain up-to-date supplier records. Coordinate logistics from mainland cities for timely delivery of goods.
- Oversee customs, import duties, and government inspections for applicable goods.
- Conduct market visits, monitor trends, and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Provide feedback and support to improve procurement processes and cost controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Three years or more of years in a purchasing department in a managerial role.
- Mastering purchasing & inventory systems/software.
- Product knowledge & Alternatives.
- Knowledge of regional/ province markets & traders.
- Teamwork techniques and Can-do attitude.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication.
