Working Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (office-based), with occasional client visits and possible overseas travel

Role Purpose
This role strengthens their ability to deliver comprehensive accounting and financial advisory services to international clients operating in Vietnam. The Senior Associate will manage full accounting processes, ensure compliance with local tax laws, contribute to client advisory projects, and support the development of junior team members. The position is both technically hands-on and client-facing, ideal for professionals who combine execution skills with strategic insight.
Main Objectives
Deliver accurate and timely accounting and tax services to assigned clients.
Provide regulatory and strategic financial advice aligned with Vietnamese and international standards.
Support ERP implementation and advisory projects as needed.
Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations and full-cycle bookkeeping for client portfolio.s
Prepare and review tax filings, including CIT, VAT, FCT, and others, ensuring compliance and timely submission.on
Research tax and accounting regulations to provide tailored advice to clients
Draft and review advisory reports on finance and tax matters
Participate in meetings with clients, prospects, and external advisors
Support ERP implementation for clients (e.g., D365, Kingdee, Odoo, Oracle)
Provide guidance and feedback to client staff where relevant
Support the Manager in reviewing junior staff work, conducting internal training, and performing ad-hoc tasks
Travel to client sites within Vietnam and occasionally overseas as required
Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or local Tax Certification are preferred
Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Accounting or Tax roles, ideally within a consulting or professional services firm
Exposure to clients in the manufacturing sector is a strong asset
Experience participating in ERP implementations is preferred
Technical Skills
Proficient in ERP systems such as D365, Kingdee (or Yongyou), Odoo, and Oracle
Familiarity with local accounting software such as MISA
Strong command of Microsoft Office tools
