The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
Job Description:
1. Project Coordinator & Facilitator:
- Act as the primary project coordinator for a diverse portfolio of supply chain projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Business Developments, etc.).
- Resolve project roadblocks through projects to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, capture accurate minutes, and track action items to completion.
2. Diverse project scopes within end-to-end supply chain functions
Provide PMO support across a varied range of supply chain initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Demand/Supply Planning: Initiatives to improve inventory optimization, balance supply with demand fluctuations.
- Floor Productivity Improvement: Projects aimed at streamlining warehouse operations, enhancing picking/packing efficiency, optimizing facility layouts, and improving labor utilization.
- Network Optimization: Studies and implementations for optimizing distribution center locations, transportation routes, and overall supply chain network design for cost and service improvements.
- Delivery Speed & Cost Optimization: Projects focused on reducing last-mile delivery times, optimizing transportation costs, improving delivery success rates, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
3. On-site Project Control & Launch Success:
- Conduct regular on-site visits to operational facilities (warehouses, distribution centers, hubs) to monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and ensure adherence to planned activities.
- Provide hands-on support during critical project phases, particularly during go-live and hypercare periods, to ensure smooth implementation and successful launch.
- Collect feedback from on-site teams and stakeholders to feed back into project adjustments and lessons learned.
4. Performance Management & Tracking:
- Develop and implement robust metrics and KPIs to track the performance of ongoing projects and the overall effectiveness of specific supply chain functions post-implementation.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret performance data to generate actionable insights and identify areas for further optimization.
- Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports and dashboards on project health, benefits realization, and functional performance to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of industry experience with proven business impact.
- Experience in Operations Excellence, Continuous improvement, or Industrial Engineering.
- Excellent in communication with different stakeholders and have experience in project management or operation.
- Have ownership of the project, always being active to work with relevant stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese to coordinate with stakeholders from across the region.
