We are seeking a motivated and skilled Product Owner to oversee the discovery features of Zing MP3, inlcuding Home & Search. This role is crucial for enhancing user engagement by ensuring users can start listening quickly and effortlessly. The position requires technical knowledge to collaborate closely with the recommendation team and optimize the user experience.
What you will do
- Propose new features to maximize the effectiveness of music discovery based on product positioning, user value, statistical data, market trends, product roadmap;
- Design solutions for those features, including clear and coherent requirement specifications, wireframes and mockups with navigations, UX/UI, and layouts, all with a user-centric mindset;
- Own recommendation features end-to-end from frontend UX to backend strategy, and from conception to release;
- Work closely with the Data Science team to integrate and optimize algorithms for personalized music discovery;
- Coordinate with other development teams (Android, iOS, Website, Server-side…) to ensure feature accuracy and project timelines.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of working experience as Product Owner;
- Domain knowledge in recommendation and experience in a big data environment interacting directly with data scientists and/or machine learning engineers is highly desirable;
- A strong passion for music, with knowledge and awareness of the music market and trends;
- Good at communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
- Able to analyze why an app or a website is built in a certain way;
- Able to use mockup software to design UX/UI, layout, and navigation flows;
- Strong data-sense & practical mindset.
