Technical Sourcing & Quality Assurance Associate – Vietnam Employment Type: Full-Time (Remote) Location: Binh Duong or Dong Nai, Vietnam
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Sourcing & Quality Assurance to support sourcing initiatives and provide technical insights across supplier selection with a strong focus on product engineering and quality control. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in technical sourcing, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Sourcing & Management
- Support sourcing initiatives and identify technically capable suppliers in Vietnam
- Work with R&D, engineering and Procurement teams to identify suppliers that meet technical and production requirements.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities to ensure alignment with product specifications.
Technical Evaluation & Product Development
- Review technical drawings, BOMs, and product specs to assess sourcing feasibility.
- Coordinate with suppliers during the prototype and sample stages of new product development.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct or support process capability assessments to ensure supplier quality.
- Assist in managing quality standards and ensuring product compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with R&D, Procurement and Logistics Team to align sourcing with development cycles
- Share factory visit reports and technical feedback in structured format.
Requirements
- Must be based in Vietnam (preferably Binh Duong or Dong Nai)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier coordination.
- Strong attention to detail; able to work with exacting product specs and documentation.
- Fluent in Vietnamese; professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets and working with templates and checklists.
- Experience in technical sourcing, product development, or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, specs).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work remotely and independently, with overlapping availability to Philippine and German time zones.
- Must be comfortable conducting factory visits independently and presenting findings with clarity and confidence.
