Accommodation Team Leader

Mô tả công việc:

1. Team Management:

• Manage and train a team of 10–20 workers in ship accommodation outfitting according to technical standards, including:

o Insulation installation (pins, rockwool, cladding);

o Adjust in workshop and install on the vessels accommodation bulkheads and ceilings panels;

o Install on board all accommodation floors (floating floors, vinyl, etc.);

o Adjust in workshop and install on the vessels all the ship furniture and accommodation equipment (for bathrooms, galleys, bedrooms, lounges, etc.).

2. Quality and Progress Monitoring:

• Ensure all tasks are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet required quality standards.

3. Health and Safety Compliance:

• Comply with the laws and regulations of labor safety and hygiene related to work and assigned tasks.

• Use and maintain the Personal Protective Equipment, working tools, safety appliances and equipment in the workplace, and are responsible for any loss or damage.

• Report immediately to a person in charge when discovering risks that may lead to work-related accidents, diseases or poisoning and danger. Give first aid and take corrective action to prevent work related accidents as required by the Company.

• Properly participate in OHS training courses conducted by the Company, included training before working with machinery, equipment which need to apply strict requirements on safety.

• Properly participate periodic medical check-up and occupational disease examination organized by employer.

• Get advice from and follow doctor's instruction if treatment is required.

Yêu cầu công việc:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine or relevant Engineering discipline.

• Experience:

o People management and work organization.

o High standard accommodation works (4-star hotels, resorts, etc.).

o Carpentry (woodwork, light panels work, furniture fabrication).

o Floor installation (vinyl, tiling, carpets, etc.).

o Insulation (rockwool & cladding).

• Skills & Competencies:

o Fluent in spoken and written English.

o Basic computer and AutoCAD knowledge.

o Careful mind-set, focused on highest quality standard.
