This role is to ensure efficient expense spending and planning to drive business success by leveraging data analytics, optimizing sales activities budget and sales target allocation.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a monitoring framework for the Agency budget, including sales activities, travel, and other operational expenses.
2. Lead the annual refresh exercise of the total Agency budget, aligning with Financial Business Partners (FBP) on the expense structure for Agency operating expenses.
3. Conduct efficiency analysis across sales territories, evaluating proposed and executed sales activities budgets (GP, BOP, customer events, CSR) against expected outcomes such as incremental APE, customer acquisition, and recruitments.
4. Review reimbursement tickets for claimed activities, sales support trips, ATD events, and AD sales visits to GAD, ensuring proper allocation of business allowances.
5. Collaborate closely with FBP to manage Agency operating expenses within planned limits and provide clear explanations for any cost overruns.
6. Support Planning and Forecasting team members on additional tasks including Group-required data analysis and strategic formulation for the annual Business Plan exercise.
Job Requirements:
1. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in managing large-scale budgets and working within complex organizational structures with involvement of Group Head Office.
- Familiarity with sales activity planning and reimbursement processes.
- Proficiency to apply analytics in data model platform, such as SQL, Python, Excel
- Proven experience in budget planning, financial analysis, and operational efficiency.
- Understand life insurance business
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
