Responsibilities
- Assist the Departement Head in managing day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring guest requests and maintenance tasks are handled efficiently.
- Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate engineering team members to maintain high performance and morale.
- Oversee the upkeep of all resort facilities and systems, including pools, drainage, fire alarms, and kitchen equipment.
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and energy conservation programs.
- Manage inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure cost-effective purchasing of engineering materials.
- Ensure contractor work meets resort quality standards.
- Enforce safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures while aligning with Six Senses brand standards and values.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the resort with a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a hotel or resort environment; international experience is a plus.
- Proven leadership, communication, and technical skills.
- Strong English proficiency; other language skills are an advantage.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
