Responsibilities
Our SMB Business Development Team is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, pitching and closing high potential advertisers and marketing agencies for the TikTok Ads Platform. You will consult with decision makers to help them incorporate TikTok Ads into their marketing strategies, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop best practices for client acquisition and sales, while building and managing a pipeline of opportunities, establishing new client relationships, focusing on revenue and bottom line business impact. Success in this position requires a passion for sales, supporting businesses, generating new business, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Responsibilities: - Prospect, qualify, pitch and close new business opportunities for the TikTok Ads Platform. - Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends. - Consult with decision makers and align TikTok Ads strategies with identified marketing and business objectives. - Onboard new clients onto the TikTok Ads Platform and set them up for long-term success. - Develop strategies for prospecting, activation, and early-stage retention. - Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize processes and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in sales and/or business development in a technology, advertising, media sales or internet environment. - Proficient with sales prospecting tactics and technologies - Results-oriented with a strong drive for achieving goals. - Able to identify & engage main stakeholders and key decision makers - Basic understanding of digital marketing products Preferred Qualifications: - Deep understanding of Small and Medium Business and Digital Marketing industry is a plus - Experience in media across a variety of digital platforms - Ability to succeed in a rapidly changing environment with excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills. - Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across departments to achieve common goals.
