ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Document data assets: tables, fields, relationships, and business definitions
- Create data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), and visual data maps
- Maintain accurate and complete metadata for data warehouse objects
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to validate data definitions
- Write clear descriptions of data elements, business rules, and data lineage
- Manage data catalog taxonomy and classification
- Conduct regular quality checks of catalog content
- Use SQL to validate data relationships and dependencies
- Develop visual guides and documentation for end-users
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS1. Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Library Science, Business Analytics, or related field, or equivalent industry experience – Required
2. Experience
- 3+ years of experience with SQL and data querying
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, metadata, and data quality
- Proven experience in technical documentation and data visualization
- Proficient with tools like Miro, Visio, Draw.io, Collibra, Alation, Power BI, Looker
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance
- Preferred: knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics

- Advanced SQL and understanding of data architecture
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Visual thinking, creative problem-solving
- Basic project management skills
