In this position, you will:
- Participate in the early stage of setting up new factory, building team and driving success.
- Lead the EHS team to ensure the full compliance to all the relevant Law, Rules, Guideline, Standards, Regulation or Act applicable to the Company.
- Develop,implement and monitor EHS policies, procedure aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, legal compliance with local occupational environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Develop, maintain documentation and data sheets related to hazardous materials, safety inspections, and EHS procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and lead incident investigations.
- Monitor and report on environmental metrics (waste, emissions, energy use).
- Oversee hazardous material handling and disposal.
- Organize or support the Internal/External Audit on EHS and reporting to Corporate EHS.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth and timely operations. Coordinate training programs on safety and emergency response. Promote a safety-first culture across all departments.
- Supervise and ensure effective employee relations:
- Hire and train EHS Engineer /Officers/ technician/ medical team.
- Provide employee coaching and development opportunities.
- Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Other tasks assigned by line manager.
What we expect from you:
- 3-5 years's experience working in a safety and health program development and implementation. Prior experience in factory setup is a strong advantage.
- Experience in EHS auditing, Radiation Safety Officer, Laser Safety Officer, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Language proficiency: Vietnamese – required, good command of English (written and spoken).
