Join our team in Ho Chi Minh as a Forwarding Specialist. This role suits an organized, solution-oriented professional with a proactive mindset and a strong background in logistics.
Your Responsibilities
- Processing incoming transport requests from our customers
- Building and offering solutions locally in Vietnam and the region (Pre-carriage/on-carriage, port-handling, contact with supplier/receiver)
- Send out and negotiate rate requests with our suppliers
- Issue transport orders to suppliers and ensure accurate documentation
- Organize and follow up on transport operations in close contact with suppliers, clients, internal teams, and loading/unloading sites
- Resolve any issues that arise
- Keeping a clear overview on ongoing transports and use various logistics platforms such as e-Trans, Transporeon, TAS and TMS
Your Profile
- 5 years of experience performing similar tasks
- Native Vietnamese speaker with a good command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication and self-starter
- Well organized, attention to detail and the ability to manage volumes of data
- Comfortable working with different systems, online platforms and digital tools
- A proactive person who works well both independently and as part of a small team
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of the transport and logistics field
- Focused on delivering both quality and efficiency
