As we look to our next phase of growth, we’re expanding our design capabilities and are seeking a Furniture Designer to help shape the next generation of our exclusive product ranges.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop commercially viable furniture collections from concept through to production, with a clear focus on modern Australian design sensibilities.
- Collaborate with our buying, merchandising, and showroom teams to align design with market trends, material feasibility, and customer needs.
- Work closely with our offshore manufacturing partners to refine prototypes, manage sample feedback, and ensure product quality and consistency.
- Build a scalable, differentiated product range that meets margin, logistics, and sustainability objectives.
- Contribute to campaign photoshoots, marketing storytelling, and showroom presentation for new launches.
About You:
- A degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience designing furniture for retail or wholesale markets.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating original design work across hard goods (tables, chairs, storage) and ideally soft seating.
- Proficient in CAD/3D software (SketchUp, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar) and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understanding of timber, upholstery, joinery, and sustainable materials.
- Commercial mindset—able to balance aesthetic vision with cost, margin, and operational efficiency.
- A collaborative and proactive attitude—you thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial team.
