ABOUT THE POSITION
Report to: FX Art Team LeaderSparx* is currently looking for a talented FX Artist who can do his/her magic on Real-Time Game Engines. You love working on fascinating special effects, you dream to work on an entertainment IP, we are looking for passionate people who want to open their field of competency. Welcome to the team where every day is a new challenge to make your ideas become true and amaze the audience with stunning effects.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create stunning real-time visual effects for games and cinematics using a mastery of high-quality particle effects, meshes, textures, and shaders.
- Optimize effects for performance.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and solve cross-discipline problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine, Unity, or a comparable game engine.
- Ability to deconstruct complex visual effects from reference and recreate them in a real-time game engine.
- Skilled with Photoshop or Affinity, Maya, and or 3DS Max, Blender.
- Strong sense of shape, timing, color and motion.
- Strong proficiency in technical problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Previous game production experience.
- Open to work in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Preferred:
- Experience with other content creation software: Embergen, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, After Effects.
- Experience with Houdini and dynamic simulations.
- English proficiency is preferred.
