As the Site General Manager, you will lead a team of staff with responsibility for achieving site safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement performance that meets or exceeds customer and market expectations.
Must have semiconductor manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
- Provide clear expectations relative to specific performance metrics with consideration of short and long term financial, manufacturing and customer expectations
- Develop and reinforce the continuous improvement mindset, methodologies and goals for the entire organization
- Organize the efforts and activities of the various levels and functional departments in the site towards the achievement of the site’s objectives
- Develop short and long term strategies to maximize the site’s contribution to the organization and corporation
- Uphold, maintain and ensure conformance to the corporate beliefs and policies
- Support and interact with other ON Semiconductor businesses in Vietnam
- Represent and build a positive image for the corporation in the local business and professional organization, the government and community.
- Monitor and provide guidance to the functional departments for the achievement of their objectives through regular reviews and informal discussion sessions.
- Communicate with all associates and regularly update everyone about the organization's performance
- Mentor and support the capability growth of the staff and other managers through direct interaction, dialogue and training/education
- Represent the site in group and higher-level meetings
- Link with other sites for sharing of resources and to facilitate learning.
- Motivate, recognize and reward the achievements of the individuals, various functional groups and departments comprising the organization
- Regularly update and coordinate with the business centers and higher levels of management to ensure that the site goals and objectives are linked to the overall organization's direction and activities.
- Ensure proper implementation or corporate or sector led projects and programs
· Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
· At least twelve years’ relevant experience in management position in semiconductor manufacturing.
· Must be organized, adaptable and possess strong leadership skills.
· Budgeting and financial planning skills.
· Anticipate and proactively address trends and future needs.
· Troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills.
· Organizational and time management skills.
