Why this role?
- The Head of Finance drives the achievement of KONE Vietnam’s short-term business objectives as well as long-term profitable, sustainable growth.
- He/she contributes to company’s success by developing a sustainable business and financial strategies and developing a high performing organization together with the Managing Director and other leadership team of KONE Vietnam.
- He/she leads a team of business controllers and finance professionals.
- He/she is a driver for local implementation of KONE Finance transformation to develop and implement finance policies, processes, and systems that help to control KONE’s financial assets and provide complete and accurate financial information and records.
- The Head of Finance will be an integral part of KONE Vietnam’s leadership team, and reports to Managing Director of KONE Vietnam, and in matrix to Finance Director for SEA and ANZ
What will you be doing?
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management team level to develop and implement finance and controlling systems and processes that align with the organisation's overall vision and its current and future business objectives.
- Lead the company’s finance function so that financial and controlling transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet the organisation's short and long-term business objectives and comply with local/global regulations, KONE accounting principles and standards and KONE Financial Control Models and operating models.
- Lead the business planning and forecasting processes, and develop and implement annual budgets
- Responsible for KONE’s corporate reporting process according to the Corporate Reporting process, guidelines and timetables.
- Responsible of the organisation's external financial reports, taxes and other statutory requirements together with Company Affairs Director.
- Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of managers and professionals to achieve established goals.
- Support the internal and external audit program activities within the Unit.
- Lead, develop and manage cash flow and credit/collections activities.
- Develop and implement finance strategies that are appropriate for the business needs and consistent with KONE’s overall finance strategy.
- Maintain strong connections with other Finance colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.
Are you the one?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or MBA and CPA is a plus or related professional qualifications.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in financial management, out of which relevant share in a leadership role in a multinational company with a proven track record of successful leadership and proven record of developing high/performing organization.
- Experience in managing taxes, treasury and other statutory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
- Strong analytical approach and strategic and business acumen combined with decision making capacity.
- Ability to collaborate, influence and persuade effectively in local and international environment by articulating and explaining complex financial data in a way that is understood by stakeholders and decision makers.
- Drive and persistence in developing processes and organization with strong change-management skills.
- Experience with shared service and proficiency in accounting software (preferred SAP).
