Manages factory capacity and layout planning, equipment purchases and inventory management and drives efficiency in productivity and cost to meet customer demand.
Leads key initiatives relating to forecasting and the layout of equipment to optimize the efficiency of operations and workflow.
Works cross-functionally with other multiorganizational stakeholders to plan and optimize factory layout and equipment design and ensure optimal process flow.
Uses data analysis and complex modeling to improve factory/network output with recommendations on tools, conversions, and transfers.
Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
Based on these studies, we develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods to ensure equipment, capital assets, and facility plans align to dynamic business direction.
Optimizes factory capacity and space utilization in both short term and long-term horizon to support business needs with best flexibility and cost.
Defines and manages tool metrics, monitors tool performance, and drives productivity improvement such as run rate, labor, and workflow optimization.
Drives stakeholder alignment and integration to better develop capacity plans and flexible building designs to support dynamic business situations.
Ensures accuracy and optimization of equipment placement, building layout, and capacity through benchmarking, and facility and wafer transfer modeling and simulation.
Identifies and develops solutions for factory constraints. Provides solutions for identified problems to improve capacity and minimize capital expenditures.
Qualifications:
• Possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management or other related majors. • Strong English verbal and written communication skills. • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with a strong data driven mindset and positive learning attitude. • Must be able to negotiate and resolve conflicts within all levels of the organization to a win-win solution • Have a Possibility thinking and Lean mindset. Must have a thorough understanding of continuous improvement and problem solving techniques. • Prior experience with semiconductor packaging and technologies, AutoCAD or data science, automation, AI would be an added advantage.
