The team
Hitachi Digital Services Vietnam is part of a 300 strong global delivery network, supporting Hitachi Digital Services around the globe. Our employees collaborate with teams in Japan, India, Portugal, and the US, servicing customers worldwide and working on a huge variety of projects. From cloud migration to digital modernization and advanced analytics, offering operational excellence, agile delivery, and plenty of energy to work on huge transformation projects for our customers.
The role
The Japanese IT Service Desk who will provide business operation support service to Japanese clients. The position involves daily communication with Japanese client to handle various kinds of service requests such as: Call center service (Query handling), Operation service (data registration/system integration), troubleshooting (data investigation, error handling), etc.
In addition, this role involves handling service requests of the assigned service following the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) and being responsible for translation all kinds of work-related IT or non-IT documents from English to Japanese and vice versa.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma.
- Language Proficiency: Japanese N1/N2 level (strong speaking and writing skills).
- Experience working with Japanese clients and systems.
- Familiarity with Japanese work culture and business manners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a multinational, cross-functional team environment.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn (in business domain, software engineering, language).
- High sense of responsibility and teamwork.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
