About the Role
As a Junior Accountant, you will support the accounting team in handling daily operations and maintaining accurate financial records. You will assist with data entry, bank and card reconciliations, VAT invoicing, and the preparation and submission of various taxes including VAT, CIT, and PIT. You will also contribute to audit preparations, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support other accounting functions as assigned by the manager. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate accounting processes while collaborating closely with internal teams and external parties.
What You Will Do:
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including data entry and general ledger support
- Conduct bank and card reconciliations; ensure timely and complete collection follow-up
- Prepare commercial invoices and follow up on payments from clients
- Manage and issue VAT invoices in accordance with local regulations
- Accurately calculate and submit VAT, CIT, PIT, and other applicable taxes
- Ensure timely compliance with accounting standards and Vietnamese financial regulations
- Assist in audit preparation and support tax filing processes
- Provide support on other assignments and ad hoc accounting tasks as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by manager
What We Are Looking For:
- A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in data entry, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance
- Familiarity with audit processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software
- Good command of English is required
