Logistics Operations Coordinator

Overall job purpose: Responsible for end-to-end logistics operations, including planning, coordinating, and executing domestic and cross-border trucking shipments. Ensure timely delivery, cost control, and full compliance with customs regulations

Main tasks and key responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily trucking schedules (domestic & cross-border)
• Coordinate trucking operations, including scheduling pickups and deliveries, and optimizing routes for cost-effective transportation
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve delivery issues.
• Liaise with transporters, customs brokers, and warehouses.
• Prepare and verify shipping & customs documentation.
• Handle customs clearance procedures for import/export cargo.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Manage POD collection, billing, and KPI reporting
• Resolves customer issues, handles and solves incidents (eg. escalations, disputes)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in customs clearance and transportation operations in the logistics industry.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
• Wide knowledge of transportation vendors and vendor management
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Results driven and attention to details

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, at least 03 years experience in logistics/trucking operations.
• Experience in Domestics, cross-border shipments… and customs Brokerage
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of transport laws and Incoterms.

Skills

• Deep knowledge of freight and customs systems (EDI, VNACCS, TMS, WMS)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder, and government relations skills
• Strong problem-solving and crisis-handling mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Customs Broker License or equivalent is a plus
