As Managing Director, you will shape the direction and growth of Edelman Vietnam by fostering a high-performance culture, advancing strategic client engagements, and championing a multidisciplinary approach that delivers measurable impact. You’ll serve as both a strategic advisor and a business operator, steering cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, delivering integrated solutions that drive business impact while representing Edelman’s standard of strategic excellence.
- Client Partnership: Cultivate and deepen client relationships, acting as a true partner in solving complex challenges and delivering enduring value.

- Operational Excellence: Drive the delivery of best-in-class work through rigorous quality control, effective project management, and client satisfaction.

- Financial Stewardship: Oversee financial performance, ensuring profitable growth, risk management, and value creation for clients and Edelman.

- Compliance & Ethics: Lead by example in upholding compliance, governance, and Edelman’s core values of excellence, courage, inclusion, and integrity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 18 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing large-scale client accounts with budgets exceeding USD 500K.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and motivating large, multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional executive presence with the ability to advise, influence, and engage senior clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a strong orientation toward results, innovation, and operational discipline.
- Strong data fluency: ability to interpret and leverage analytics across earned, owned, and paid platforms to drive decision-making.
- Digitally fluent with a solid understanding of digital transformation and the evolving media landscape.
