Job purpose:
- This role reports directly to the Country Head VNKH of Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) and is a member of VN Leadership Team of Opella organization.
- This position leads the Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) Hospital channel sales organization, including approximately 50 manpower complement for Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) hospital channel sales which is approximate 10% of total Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) sales.
- This role is to ensure Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) sales activities and HCP engagement activities are in line with company policies, strategies and business objectives, aiming to achieve marketing, sales, engagement KPIs in the hospital and ethical related channels.
Key working relationships:
- INTERNAL: Field force, Finance, Growth hub (brand activator, shopper activator, HCP activator), Supply chain, Growth performance hub.
- EXTERNAL: Local distributor, HCP, HCO and trade customers within the scope of Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) Hospital channels as defined by Vietnam LT.
Main responsibilities:
Team Management of Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) Employees:
- Lead and manage Hospital channel sales force in all aspects: performance, OPEX, HCP engagement activities and spending, etc.
- Foster Professional development of each member of the medical sales team according to the policy of the company.
Strategy:
- Collaborate with other departments on the development of Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) medical sales strategy and implementation of corporate systems.
- Ensure that Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) medical sales strategy is attuned to current market dynamics by proper gathering and analysis of competitive intelligence data and gain market share.
Sales Activities:
- Ensure that Opella (Sanofi Vietnam) medical sales objectives are met within agreed expenditures.
- Ensure achievement of team KPIs (ie. call adherence , call load, activity implementation)
- Review results of tactical activities, oversee the attainment of sales target in order to ensure smooth and flawless implementation of sales strategy and achieve sale objectives.
- Coordination with Brand & Innovation Department in order to execute well and implement all the product medical campaign.
Coordination with Zone Center of Excellence, Commercial and BOSD:
- Conduct periodic business reviews with Zone Commercial team
- Ensure proper coordination and implementation of Opella Global Commercial initiatives (ie. Make The Difference, Win with HCPs..)
Risk Assessment:
- Responsible in assessing all risk involved in the scope mentioned in the Position Mission Statement IN ORDER TO safeguard the company from possible exposure.
HSE Responsibilities:
- Responsible in complying and meeting all HSE roles and responsibilities in accordance with the existing HSE Policy.
Signing Authority / Authority Limits:
- If applicable, please see in the attached memo/ policy on signing authority.
Tender Management:
- To provide leading edge Tender service and Market Access Strategy to drive our business through equipping the sales force with superior Tender market insights & route to Tender market strategy, including key pricing and commercial decisions.
About you
Education:
- Business/ Pharmaceutical University degree/ Bachelor (preferably Business Administration, Life Sciences)
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years working experience in MNC, preferably consumer goods, with proven performance record and increasing responsibilities. With learning agility and potential to grow with different roles in the future.
- Strong experience in managing hospital or ethical channels. Experience in retail channels and pharmacy OTC channels is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years at managerial levels, which manage managers. Used to managing big team (at least 30 headcounts) is a plus.
- Strong business acumen, analytical and strategy thinking, and also execution management
- Personally mature, able to manage conflicts and deal effectively with complex issues and diversity of people
- Relationship building & networking/ influencing skills, peer and stakeholder leadership
- Excellent command of English, and good communication
