Role Description
The Technical Lead provides expert veterinary and technical support to the Business Unit and customers, ensuring Zoetis’ scientific resources deliver value and competitive advantage.
It also involves coaching technical teams, developing strategies, and collaborating with sales to drive business success.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Support the development and execution of technical strategies aligned with marketing and business goals.
- Translate strategy into actionable plans for internal and distributor sales teams.
- Lead KOL engagement and contribute to product development and launch planning.
- Provide strategic input based on market and customer insights.
- Oversee value-added services (e.g., clinical courses) and field studies.
- Maintain updated technical resources and deliver presentations at industry events.
- Manage product complaints and represent technical interests in cross-functional projects.
Customer Engagement
- Deliver expert technical consultancy to customers and field teams.
- Coach and support sales teams to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Monitor KPIs to ensure optimal customer coverage and growth.
- Communicate strategic and technical messages aligned with solution selling.
Business Unit Collaboration
- Act as a technical advisor to marketing, sales, and training teams.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure high-quality veterinary activities.
- Support pharmacovigilance communication and compliance.
- Promote collaboration, share best practices, and contribute to team success.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop the technical team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set clear goals, provide feedback, and support career growth.

Compliance
