Yield Engineers' job duty is relied on manufacturing process knowledge and data analysis skill to drive factory Yield towards world class manufacturing.
Job scope includes goal settings of Factory Yield, indicator monitor, interact and integrate multiple stakeholders into continuous Yield improvement towards Factory goals.
During new product integration, Yield engineer actively works with Technology Development group or Lead Site to learn about new product, new process and early involve in product development/envelopment to achieve healthy Yield at early product life.
During high volume manufacturing, Yield engineer will lead investigation of numerous integrated issues, manage different initiation and improvement project to accelerate Factory Quality/Yield improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering. Prefer: Electrical-Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering/Material Engineering/Chemical Engineering.
Have minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Good at data analytics skill (data query, cleaning/sanity check, preparation, data analysis/statistical method (via JMP), visualization, drawing conclusion). For experience, proven strong technical leadership. Knowledgeable in Quality/Yield and problem solving (8D report, Excursion management, FMEA, Yield improvement) (e.g. Quality Assurance, Quality/Product engineer, Process engineer having experience with Yield/Quality in module, etc.)
Good English communication skills.
Excellent in communication and key stakeholder management skills.
