THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for Planning & Business Performance Management, Consultant who contributes to PD growth by taking responsibility for planning and execution of Partnership Distribution business strategies. This position plays critical role in working with the bank partner(s) to develop and implement initiatives to achieve PD KPIs, establish metrics for monitoring and evaluating sales performance and proposing actions to improve.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Planning (50%)
- Lead the business planning process of both TCB & VPB projects, including monthly / quarterly / yearly production with relevant OKR (product mix, case size, active ratio…) by working directly with TCB & VPB (Head of Planning & MIS, Head of BDM) to timely & well-aligned plan
- Ensure all the monthly, quarterly & Stratplan sessions are timely managed and delivered as required by RCE and Group PD
- Lead the process of preparing and delivering meeting materials for all strategic meetings with partners (TCB & VPB, including Steering Committee, Working Committee) and internal (LTs meeting, Monthly Distribution Review with Local CEO & LTs, Monthly / Quarterly Business Review with Regional CEO)
- Provide deep understanding of actual business situation and timely propose solutions by working closely with Sales Directors & Regional Heads
- Liaise with Sales Directors to prepare detailed action plan for monthly sales activities to uplift performance
- Provide consultation to manager and/or other teams in order to build action plans to meet scorecard requirements, synchronizing activities across the PD
Business Solution & Initiatives management (30%)
- Propose business case / proposal for PD’s initiatives with clear identified scope, key tasks, deliverables, PIC, timeline. Work with WS leaders to work out solutions to meet the business requirements
- Ensure the company wide’s projects are implemented smoothly at PD by working closely with PMO, Change champions & relevant departments
- Keep track of all implementation and initiatives, as well as perform regular evaluations, which includes creating group strategy reports (War room, MOST updates, Monthly report for RCE)
- Provide adequate updates on current project health status
Performance Management (20%)
- Take ownership to analyze performance, provide regular monitoring (weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly) and proposing any actions / solutions to improve by working directly with Sales Directors
- Lead the periodic business review session at PD level to ensure that the strategy is being implemented effectively
- Provide market intelligence for better benchmarking
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Insurance
- 10 years+ of experience in insurance / banking industry specifically in Strategy, Business Performance management, Planning & Analysis.
- Sharp strategic mindset with holistic view
- Good at influencing, communicating and presentation skills in both VNese & English
- Experienced in data processing & analytics tools: SQL, Excel, Access, Power BI…
