- Lead and manage all project activities for the Vietnam Business Unit, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and in line with defined timelines, specifications, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with local teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project progression and communication.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations are exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, detailing project timelines, budgets, and resources required, while identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Utilize data analytics to assess project performance, making informed decisions to optimize processes and increase productivity.
- Oversee compliance with local regulations and standards as they pertain to project management and execution of solar installations.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives, ensuring teams are knowledgeable about technical and procedural requirements.
- Conduct evaluations of completed projects to identify lessons learned and integrate insights into future project planning.
- Promote safety and sustainability practices within the project execution framework and communicate the importance of these principles to all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in renewable energy or construction industries, with a focus on the Vietnam market.
- Strong understanding of local regulations and industry standards in Vietnam.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Microsoft Project and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
- Willingness to travel within Vietnam as needed to support project activities.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems and technologies is a significant advantage.
