Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Robot Technician to join our robotics assembly team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy mechanical work, are detail-oriented, and want to work directly on the physical construction of robotic arms and systems. You will be assembling, testing, and fine-tuning robot components — including arms, grippers, joints, and support structures — in a factory or workshop setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble robotic arms and subsystems using hand tools, power tools, and jigs.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, assembly drawings, or work instructions.
- Install mechanical and sometimes basic electrical components (wiring, connectors, motors).
- Perform quality checks and basic testing to ensure robotic systems function properly.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues during assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers and team leads to improve assembly processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or vocational school a plus).
- 1+ year experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, or related hands-on work.
- Comfort with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, torque drivers, calipers, etc.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and how moving parts interact.
- Experience in robotics, automation, or industrial machinery assembly is a plus but not required.
