We are looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to join our development team on our mission to revolutionize the continuum of care through our all-in-one foodservice management technology.
As part of our Development team, your mission is to stay on top of the latest releases, contribute to projects, and deliver the best quality solutions for our customers.
A day in the life as a Ruby on Rails developer:
- Design and develop new features for our best in class foodservice management software
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Analyze client requirements to develop functional and technical software requirements
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing application
- Collaborates with development, QA, product and customer support teams all over the world
- Supervise and support other junior developers in fulfilling tasks as well as improving their skills
- Present new and innovative ideas
- Helping team members with a collaborative spirit
- Contributes to maintaining an open, friendly and innovative working environment for every member

- I have knowledge of Ruby, Rails framework, RESTful API design, and relational databases.
- I have 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development, and a passion for continuous learning.
- I have experience in the healthcare and senior living technology industry.
- I have experience with Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Git, GitHub, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- I’m familiar with object-oriented programming principles and collaborative development environments.
- I’m exceptional at writing clean, readable Ruby code and solving complex backend challenges.
- I get most excited about building scalable, high-performance systems that make a real-world impact.
- I’m extra passionate about collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful solutions.
- I have a proven ability to understand team dynamics, support others, and go beyond my role to achieve shared goals.
- I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate.
