Lixibox is a full-stack one-stop omnichannel solution for luxury affordable beauty brands, funded by well-known Silicon Valley investors. The company focuses on optimizing operations by leveraging in-house agency and technology solutions to bring effective brand launching for end consumers.
We are seeking a well-rounded and driven Senior Business Development Manager to support both daily business operations and longer-term strategic initiatives. You will lead the ideation and execution of business development strategies targeting the US market. Your mission is to build strong partnerships, achieve sales targets, and own commercial success in a fast-changing industry..
I. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market segments, and distribution channels in the US.
- Set clear sales targets, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when needed to ensure consistent achievement.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and brand presence in the US beauty & e-commerce space.
Team Leadership & People Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Assign clear goals and KPIs for individual and team members, providing regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Identify training needs and create development plans to upskill the team.
- Act as a role model in demonstrating ownership, resilience, and a growth mindset.
Strategic Partnerships & Key Account Management
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, key accounts, and other stakeholders to drive long-term business value.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that maximize commercial outcomes while maintaining mutually beneficial relationships.
- Collaborate with partners on joint marketing campaigns, co-branding activities, and product launches.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure market strategies are aligned and executed effectively.
- Provide input to product development based on market feedback, trends, and consumer demands.
- Partner with marketing to develop campaigns tailored for the US audience, ensuring cultural relevance and brand alignment.
Data-driven Decision Making
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to make informed strategic decisions.
- Track and report sales metrics, forecasts, and ROI to senior leadership.
- Use insights to refine strategies, improve processes, and identify new growth opportunities.
II. REQUIREMENTS:
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business development, commercial sales, or consulting, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading teams to meet and exceed sales targets in dynamic, competitive markets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and hold teams accountable.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building abilities with partners and clients.
- Solid experience in international markets, ideally with exposure to the US market.
Language & Communication
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) with excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences, from team members to senior stakeholders.
Mindset & Personality
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for both strategy and execution.
- Highly adaptable, able to pivot strategies quickly based on changing market conditions.
- Results-driven, data-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines and ambitious goals.
Preferred
- Background in e-commerce, beauty, or consumer goods is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Experience in leading market entry or expansion projects in a global setting.
