As a Technical Program Manager Intern, Fraud Solutions Innovation, your primary goal is to understand GeoComply's fraud-product suite and develop innovative, data-driven solutions to combat emerging threats. We're looking for a bold and creative individual who isn't afraid to challenge conventional thinking and experiment with new technologies. You will use your strong analytical skills to research unconventional approaches to fraud detection, and you'll be responsible for taking your ideas from conception to a tangible, impactful solution.This is more than a technical role; you'll also be expected to foster cross-team collaboration, particularly with our SDK and ML teams, and to effectively present your "out-of-the-box" ideas to various stakeholders. You'll learn how to navigate a fast-paced environment and gain hands-on experience in project management and interpersonal communication.We view AI as a powerful assistant, not a replacement for human ingenuity. We expect you to leverage AI responsibly to amplify your impact, understanding its limitations and using it as a tool to support your evidence-based conclusions. The ultimate goal is to deliver at least one creative solution that can be integrated into one of our existing products, making a real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Analysis :Conduct in-depth research into unconventional approaches to fraud detection, using an evidence-based approach to provide data-driven analyses and recommendations.
- Idea Generation & Presentation: Generate creative, "out-of-the-box" ideas for new anti-fraud solutions and present them clearly and precisely to a range of stakeholders.
- Project Execution: Pursue a promising idea from its initial concept to a fully functional solution, ensuring it meets project goals and becomes a successful deliverable.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Proactively work with diverse teams, including the SDK and Machine Learning teams, to develop and deliver cross-platform anti-fraud solutions.
- AI Application: Utilize AI tools as a strategic assistant to enhance your research, analysis, and solution development, while always maintaining a critical understanding of its limitations.
Who We're Looking For
- Degree-seeking: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong Analytical Mindset: You possess exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for using data to drive decisions.
