As the HR Site Manager based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will serve as the primary HR representative for our Vietnam operations, ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies and compliance with local employment laws. You will be a key member of the APAC HR team, acting as the bridge between global HR initiatives and local execution, while fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Site HR Leadership
- Act as the main HR point of contact for all Vietnam-based employees and managers.
- Lead the local implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives aligned with global and regional strategies.
- Ensure the smooth operation of HR services on-site, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and HR administration.
Compliance & Employment Law
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Vietnam labor law and HR compliance.
- Monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation and ensure policy alignment and regulatory adherence.
- Liaise with local authorities and internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Admin) on HR-related compliance matters.
Employee Relations & Advisory
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance issues, and HR best practices.
- Conduct and manage investigations and resolution of complex employee relations cases.
- Promote a positive employee experience and workplace culture through proactive engagement and support.
Work in close partnership with the HR Regional Manager for APAC as well as the global domains in HRBP, Talent & Development, Learning, Compensation & Benefits, and Marketing to deliver solutions tailored to the specific needs of the Vietnam site."
Lead and support HR Project at the global, regional, or local level or organizational changes
Qualifications & Profile
- ~10 years of HR experience, including ~5 years in a site leadership role, decision-making HRBP or HR generalist
- Deep knowledge of Vietnam labor law and HR practices
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) to operate in a multinational environment
- Strong relationship You need to quickly build relationships with both business and other HR colleagues and be seen as a trusted advisor
- Communication Skills: Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory to operate in Murex international context
- Work experience in a multicultural environment
- Builder’s mindset—thrives on establishing HR operations from the ground up in new country setups and is energized by hands-on, day-to-day responsibilities
