Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cost estimation, tracking, reporting, and final cost reconciliation for Drilling & Completion (D&C) activities.
- Assist in preparing budgets, AFEs, MSRs with full supporting documentation; monitor approval processes.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive Drilling Cost Control System, ensuring tracking of budgets, AFEs, contracts, POs/SOs/ROs, and invoices.
- Prepare monthly, yearly expenditure reports and daily cost reports during operations.
- Monitor and verify drilling-related invoices for timely submission, approval, and payment.
- Provide cost performance updates to D&C Managers and highlight deviations from approved budgets.
- Forecast well costs and provide variance analysis; support supplemental budget/AFE preparation if needed.
- Monitor call-off contracts, ensure spending is within contractual limits, and track commitments and expenditures.
- Support other ad-hoc assignments from Drilling and Deputy Drilling Managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of oil & gas industry experience, including at least 5 years in a drilling engineering/cost control role.
- Experience with D&C procurement or tendering is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Advanced knowledge of cost control systems and financial reporting tools
