JOB SUMMARY
The F&B Sales & Events Manager is fully responsible for driving total F&B revenue, upselling incremental revenue after Sales Contracts are signed, and securing milestone celebrations, social events, and group functions.
This role has full ownership of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Group Resumes, ensuring 100% accuracy and smooth operational execution by coordinating with the Culinary, Banquets, and Service Teams.
The Manager is hands-on, personally meeting guests upon arrival and acting as the main point of contact throughout all events. The Manager also collaborates closely with the F&B Marcom Team and E-commerce Team to develop strong e-menus and targeted F&B promotions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in F&B Sales or Events in an international hotel/resort.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Sales Force Application (SFA).
- Strong ability to create and manage e-menus and F&B promotional campaigns.
Core Competencies:
- Strong upselling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on leadership and mentoring ability.
- Excellent organizational and guest interaction skills.
WORK RELATIONSHIPS
- Internal: Culinary Team, Banquets, Service, F&B Marcom, E-commerce, Finance.
- External: Clients, Event Planners, Vendors.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve monthly and quarterly F&B revenue targets.
- Maximize incremental revenue post-contract through menu upgrades, wine pairings, décor, AV, and entertainment upsells.
- Secure corporate, social, and milestone celebration events.
BEO & Group Resumes (Full Ownership)
- Prepare, review, and finalize BEOs and Group Resumes accurately.
- Ensure upsell items and special requests are fully documented.
- Attend pre-event briefings and be present during all key event stages.
Guest Interaction & Event Operations
- Meet guests upon arrival and remain their primary contact throughout the event.
- Ensure seamless operational flow, resolving issues promptly.
Collaboration & Campaigns
- Work with Culinary & Marcom Teams to create strong e-menus and promotional packages.
- Collaborate with E-commerce Team to push online promotions and QR code ordering campaigns.
Sales Force Application (SFA)
- Maintain accurate tracking of leads, contracts, and incremental revenue in SFA.
- Provide weekly revenue performance updates to the Director of F&B.
Leadership & Mentoring
- Train and guide the F&B Sales & Events Executive on upselling, BEO management, and SFA utilization.
