We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing our local and wide area networks to ensure maximum uptime, performance, and security.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN)
- Configure and install network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance and integrity
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with IT staff to optimize network performance
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations and procedures
- Ensure network security and compliance with company policies
- Stay current with network technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
