Title: Operational Intern

Description of the project the Intern will complete:
Practice and learn about daily work of admin/ procurement/finance through supporting the Vietnam office Operational team includes daily administration, procurement activities, payment process and under the supervision of the Admin and Procurement Officer.
Description of overall learning objectives and goals for the internship/benefit to the Intern:
To gain practical experiences in the field of admin, purchasing/procurement and finance management, regular duties and responsibilities of admin/procurement/finance position.
Brief description of required skills/experience the intern should possess:
- Basic understanding of administrative, procurement and financial principles
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High level of detailed focus, accuracy, and responsibility
- Good negotiation skill is an advantage
- Motivation and strong desire to learn and take on new challenges.
- Proficient skills in computer including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook
- Familiar with Google Form is an advantage

- Insight into the working environment and understanding the culture of the organization.
- Standard admin, procurement and finance practice
- Purchasing and negotiation skills
- Admin and logistic support to Vietnam office
- Payment document review and control
- Good skills of communication and coordination with other team members

Proposed activities:
Administration activities:
- Receiving and submitting correspondence at relevant government organizations.
- Acting as a Reception backup as needed
- Other admin ad-hoc tasks
Procurement activities:
- Provide support to procure goods and services for Vietnam Country program in compliance with the PATH procurement policy
- Assisting in the registration of new vendors; contacting vendors and supporting them in the finalization of requested documents;
- Assisting with the preparation of documents and implementation of the document/file management system;
- Conducting research on best practices and potential vendors;
- Other related initiatives and activities.
Finance/Accounting activities:
- Assisting Finance Unit in scanning, copying and filing documents.
- Rearranging and pre-reviewing financial supporting documents for payment
- Entering petty cash payment transactions (to spreadsheet)
- Support other/ad hoc activities as seen relevant and needed.
Candidates must currently have legal authorization to work in Vietnam.
