PR & Social Media Director

Contribute to the development of dentsu Vietnam’s short- and long-term objectives and communications strategy

Translate business goals into actionable PR and social media plans aligned with local and regional direction

Being a change agent and talent champion who brings fresh thinking and strategic transformation to the team and the business

Lead all corporate and brand PR efforts including media strategy, press releases, executive profiling, and crisis management

Build and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, influencers, and key opinion leaders

Act as a consultant to internal teams and business leaders on communications strategy and brand voice

Oversee the company’s social media strategy and execution across platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

Lead the creation of compelling, culturally relevant content that drives engagement and brand affinity

Monitor trends, sentiment, and performance data to continuously refine the social approach

Identify new business opportunities and support the commercial team in driving revenue growth

Empower the team to uphold communication solutions to both existing and potential clients

Advise on proposals and participate in high-level client consultations

Monitor and manage department budget, expenses, and cost efficiency

Work closely with Finance and HR to forecast headcount and maintain a sustainable billing-to-head ratio

Conduct monthly service audits to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables

Build, lead, and develop a high-performing communications team that meets both current and future business needs

Assess the performance and potential of team members, define individual development plans (IDPs), and ensure effective execution

Provide regular coaching, feedback, and recognition to drive performance and engagement

Drive recruitment planning based on business forecasts and participated actively in hiring processes

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in PR and social media, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management role

Strong leadership, people development, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies

Excellent media relations, crisis management, and executive communication experience

Fluent in Vietnamese and English (written & spoken)

Experience working in an agency or fast-paced environment with local and regional exposure
