The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
About the Team:
Finance Operations team handle payment, compensation process for stakeholders (Merchant/Driver/Buyer) with the objectives:
1. Ensure smooth & precise payment, reconciliation & reporting
2. Improve process efficiency through continuous improvement & automation
3. Operation cost optimization
Job Description:
- Manage Finance Ops team: deliver team’s OKR, monitor daily tasks such as payment reconciliation, compensation handling, etc. and engage team members.
- Liaise closely with cross teams to manage and ensure smooth payment flow to our customer and partners such as user, merchant and driver.
- Initiate and lead the projects to improve payment processes and cost efficiency.
- Manage project assigned, execute action & timeline needed, report block issue & propose solution.
- Work with other stakeholders to solve issues regarding payment.
- Maintain payment and other related reports up to date.
Requirements:
- Excellent at leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholders management, numerical & analytical skills to keep track of performance & generate a report to top management.
- 3-4 years of experience working in tech start-up, e-commerce, fintech, food delivery industry with minimum 1 year of proven experience in a relevant position.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in speaking & writing English.
- High collaboration with all departments, open-minded & flexible, align the process with counterparts from other functions.
- Fast-learning and open-mind, excellent time management and organizational skills.
