Game Developer (Senior, Freelancer/Remote)

Design and develop the “View” component of the game portal, ensuring responsiveness, scalability, and seamless integration within an MVC/MVVM architecture. Develop core game logic and mechanics tailored to marketing objectives, keeping the games lightweight and optimized for mobile browsers. Build interactive widgets (e.g., buttons, leaderboards, timers) that overlay directly on video streams, enabling real time player interaction. Collaborate on game engine selection (Unity or Unreal Engine) and apply knowledge of rendering pipelines, asset handling, and scripting. Optimize browser based games for mobile first experiences, ensuring high performance and compatibility with modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.

Strong understanding of MVC/MVVM design patterns, especially in relation to view layer development in game portals. Hands on experience with Unity or Unreal Engine. Familiarity with WebGL, HTML5, or JavaScript based game development is a significant advantage. Nice to have Experience integrating games into video streams and working with widget overlays. Expertise in mobile first development: low latency, high responsiveness, and optimized performance on mobile browsers. Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, and cross browser debugging. Ability to read and understand English technical documentation.
